ENHANCE COMMUNITY PARKS AND GREEN SPACES
Parks are where childhood happens. They are where families spread out a blanket, kids learn to play together, and neighbors actually see one another.
That is what our parks should be and that is what I will push for.
Ideas on paper is not enough. I will work to move the Montebello Parks Master Plan off the page and into real improvements: well-maintained facilities, adding equipment people want to use, and programs that match what our neighborhoods actually need.
I value parks that bring people together of all ages. I will fight to keep them safe, usable, and worthy of the families who live here.
STRONG RELIABLE SERVICES
I will prioritize the infrastructure, equipment, maintenance, and skilled workforce that keep Montebello Moving. From solar panels, EV charging stations, street drainage and fuctioning sewer systems, parking access to a well functioning transit system and everyday city services.
Reliable service requires more than equipment. It requires qualified staff, proper maintenance, competitive retention, and responsible investment so buses stay on the road and essential city services keep working.
MORDERNIZE PARK PROGRAMS FOR TODAY'S FAMILIES
After-school programs are not extra. They are how working families keep kids safe, learning, and off the street when the bell rings.
I will work with local nonprofits, businesses, colleges, tutors, and mentors to expand youth programs and keep them affordable. No family should have to choose between a paycheck and a safe place for their child after school.
I will also push for more classes for seniors and affordable, hands-on learning for parents and young children activities where families learn together, not just sit and watch.
This city should invest in people at every age. I will build the partnerships to make that real.
